Call for Papers

The first in 2015 in Sarajevo, the second in 2017 in Baku, the third in 2018 in Skopje, the fourth in 2019 in Turkistan, and the fifth (2021), sixth (2023), and seventh (2025) The 8th “International Congress on Social Sciences Research (USOBAK),” which was held in Ankara in a hybrid format (in-person and online) and has been established as a sustainable international social sciences event, will be organized in collaboration with the Urgench State University, Urgench Pedogogical Institute, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Gazi University, Pamukkale University, Usak Üniversity, the Turkish Cooperative Union, and the Anatolian Cultural Research Journal, will be held from October 12–15, 2026, at Urgench State University, Uzbekistan. The conference will be held in a hybrid format (both in-person and online). 

The conference will accept papers on all disciplines within the fields of Turkic World Studies, Balkan Studies, Educational Sciences, Agriculture, Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Insurance, Economic and Administrative Sciences, Philosophy, Sociology, Cultural Studies, the Turkish Language, Turkish Dialects, Social Sciences, Cooperatives, and other social sciences. 

Abstracts of the papers presented at the conference will be published electronically in the “Abstract Book” on November 5, 2026. There is no requirement to submit the full text. Full-text papers submitted will be published as the “E-Proceedings Book” on the conference website (www.usobak.com) on December 10, 2026, following the peer-review process. 

Aiming to bring together scholars from different countries and disciplines to enhance international collaboration and open new horizons for researchers, the 8th International Congress on Social Sciences Research places a historic responsibility on young social scientists and researchers, particularly in the information age.
